In February, 3.2% less tourists than in the same month of 2024

253,801 tourists were registered in Serbia in February 2025, which is 3.2% less compared to the same month last year, and 772,751 overnight stays, i.e. 5.4 percent less, the Republic Institute of Statistics (RZS) announced today. There were 122,380 foreign guests, i.e. 4.4 percent more than a year ago, while the number of domestic tourists was 131,421, or 9.3 percent less.

In February, domestic tourists made a total of 394,700 overnight stays, or 15.5 percent less than at the same time in 2024 and foreign tourists 378,051, which is 8.1 percent more.

The most visited spas in February were Vrnjačka Banja, Banja Vrdnik, Sokobanja, Banja Koviljača, Selters Banja and Lukovska Banja, and from the mountain centers of Kopaonik, Zlatibor, Divčibare, Fruška gora, Stara planina and Tara.

The majority of foreign tourists were from Russia, China, Bosnia and Herzegovina and North Macedonia.
