Industrial production in Serbia in February decreased by 1.8% vs. February 2024.

Industrial production in Serbia in February 2025 is 1.8% lower compared to the same month in 2024, the Republic Statistical Office (RZS) announced today.

In relation to the average of 2024, industrial production is 2.4% lower. Industrial production in the period January-February 2025, compared to the same period in 2024, is 0.7% lower.

Observed by sector, in February 2025, compared to the same month in 2024, production in the manufacturing sector fell by 2.5%, in the supply of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning sector, the decrease was 1.1%.

In that period, industrial production in the Mining sector increased by 3.1%.

The volume of industrial production in February 2025, compared to February 2024, decreased in 18 areas, which make up 54% of the industrial production structure, while it increased in 11 areas, whose share in the structure of industrial production is 46%.

The seasonally adjusted index of industrial production for February 2025, compared to January 2025, shows that there was a total decline of 1.2 percent for the industry, and for the processing industry, the decline is 1.9%.
