Serbia's foreign trade in goods in the first two months of this year amounted to EUR 11.1 billion and was 4.7% higher than at the same time last year, the Republic Institute of Statistics (RZS) announced today.

As stated, in January and February, goods with a total value of EUR 4.6 billion were exported, which was 0.6 percent less than in the same period last year.

At the same time, the import of goods was worth EUR 6.4 billion and was nine percent higher than in the same period in 2024.

The second most important partner of Serbia are CEFTA countries, with which an exchange surplus of EUR 459.1 million was achieved, which was mainly the result of the export of electricity, grain and their products, oil and petroleum derivatives, beverages and medical and pharmaceutical products.

Exports from Serbia to that market amounted to EUR 717.8, and import EUR 258.7 million, while the coverage of imports by exports was 277.8 percent, the Republic Institute of Statistics (RZS) announced.

In February of this year, goods worth EUR 2.4 billion were exported from Serbia, which was 4.1 percent less than in the same month of 2024, while imports amounted to EUR 3.4 billion and were seven percent higher than in February last year.
