Vrsacka pivara in bankruptcy bought by Pancevo-based company Lider izgradnja

Vrsacka pivara in bankruptcy was bought by the Pancevo-based company Lider izgradnja at the starting price of around RSD 78.5 million, announced the Bankruptcy Supervision Agency.

The offer included the property of the beer and juice factory from Vrsac, consisting of production halls, equipment, ingredients and packaging stock, as well as a share of 0.78 percent in the capital of the Belgrade company Pivare i sladare and shares in Milenijum from Vrsac, with a nominal value of around RSD 26 million.

At the previous bidding, the starting price for Vrsacka pivara was RSD 137.32 million, but there were no interested buyers.

The brewery in Vrsac is the oldest brewery in Srbija. It was founded in 1742, and it has been in bankruptcy since 2010.
