Offer of RSD 75.47 million for purchase of Vrsacka pivara

The best bidder for the purchase of Vrsacka pivara in bankruptcy is the Pancevo-based company Lider izgradnja, which offered a price of RSD 75.47 million, which was the initial price at the public bidding, announced the Bankruptcy Supervision Agency.

As said, in the case that the Republic of Serbia, as the owner of the right of first refusal in line with the Law on Cultural Heritage, uses that right and accepts the price achieved at the public bidding, the sales and purchase agreement will be signed with the state, and the deposits will be returned to the participants in the public bidding. If the state does not use the right of first refusal, the bankruptcy supervisor will sign the sales and purchase agreement with the best bidder.

The offer includes the property of the beer and juice factory from Vrsac, which consists of production halls, equipment, raw materials and packaging stock, as well as a share of 0.78% in the capital of the Belgrade-based company Pivare i sladare and shares in Milenijum from Vrsac with a nominal value of around RSD 26 million.

At the previous bidding, the initial price for Vrsacka pivara was RSD 137.32 million, but there were no interested purchasers.

The brewery in Vrsac is the oldest brewery in Serbia, and it has been in bankruptcy since 2010.
