(Illustration) The justification study for the construction of RHPP Bistrica has been completed, and the final phase includes the acquisition of location conditions and the preparation of project documentation for the relocation of part of the state roads, transmission lines and water pipes, as stated at the fourth session of the Government's Working Group for the construction of the reversible hydroelectric power plant Bistrica, where the progress in the preparation of project-technical documentation was discussed, as well as the plan of the next steps in the implementation of the project.

The Minister of Mining and Energy, Dubravka Djedovic Handanovic, stated that it is necessary for energy companies and other competent institutions to further improve coordination in order to, as per the planned dynamics, complete the drafting of technical documentation by the end of the year, including the corrected Environmental Impact Assessment Study, in accordance with the recently adopted Environmental Impact Assessment Act.
