Turkish company Any Textile to start production of textiles in Mali Zvornik – Plan to employ 120 workers

A Turkish investor is launching a factory for the production of textiles in Mali Zvornik, in the area of the former Kayra factory in Donje Naselje. The business space, which includes the buildings of the Old Sawmill, land and part of the substation, was leased for a period of 25 years, the local self-government announced.

The lease agreement was signed by Zoran Jevtic, the president of the municipality, and Yavuz Ciftci, the owner of the company Any Textile, which, according to the Telegraf daily, was registered in Serbia in September of last year.

It is planned for the new production facility to employ a total of 120 workers in the next two years, while 40 are planned to be employed initially.

– We leased the municipality’s business premises, consisting of the buildings of the Old Sawmill, land for its regular use and part of the substation, at 47 Svetosavska Street, to an investor from Turkey which intends to produce textile cloth and clothing at the plant. Real estate in public ownership was issued through an advertisement, for a period of 25 years, with the obligation of the tenant to pay a monthly rent in the amount of 254,000 dinars and the corresponding VAT – said the president of the municipality.



He added that the tenant was obliged to pay two rents in advance, as well as that, not long after, preparations should begin for the opening of the factory and the start of production.

Let us remind that the Turkish textile factory Kayra Textile, on the premises of which the new factory will operate in Mali Zvornik, stopped working in January last year.
