While waiting to see what the outcome will be with the recently announced and suspended tender for the purchase of 25 trams for GSP Belgrade - but also in the midst of the story about the transfer of numerous bus lines that GSP currently maintains on routes 100 and 700 to private transport companies - the largest city transporter has announced a new tender regarding the renewal of its fleet. It concerns the purchase of 100 low-floor articulated and 50 solo low-floor gas (CNG) buses through financial leasing for six years. As can be seen on the public procurement portal, the estimated value of the purchase of these vehicles without VAT is about 16.2 billion dinars (around EUR 140 million).

The articulated vehicles must have a minimum of 36 seats and a capacity of a minimum of 150 passengers, and solo vehicles 29 seats and a capacity of a minimum of 80 passengers.

For both solo and articulated vehicles, the tender requirement calls for all buses to be of the same brand and type.

Deadline for offers is June 17.
