From April 1, the prices of certain services in local and international postal traffic will increase by as much as 60%.

The new prices of postal services, authorized by the Government of Serbia, were announced back in late February in the Official Gazette, and the Post of Serbia announced that their implementation would start on the first day of April.

Sending a letter up to 20 grams in international traffic will cost 120 instead of 100 dinars, whereas the price of a registered letter of the same type will be 430 instead of 400 dinars. Sending registered mail with a return receipt will cost 150 instead of 130 dinars.

When asked why the postal services have become more expensive, the Post of Serbia answers that it has been done “because it was necessary to adjust the prices which have changed only twice in the past nine years.”
