According to the portal Balkanska Bezbedonosna Mreza, the new combat vehicle Mali Milos has a machine gun with a caliber of 12.7 millimeters, unlike the older versions which had a weapon with a caliber of 7.62 millimeters. The first version had a grenade launcher of 40 millimeters, whereas the new one has two anti-tank missile launchers of the M79 Osa type.
The primary purpose of this vehicle in the 72nd Brigade of the Serbian Armed Forces is to provide fire support in anti-terrorist actions in urban conditions within an arms range of 800 meters.
– The prices of Mali Milos were discussed at the fair by president Vucic, defense minister Nebojsa Stefanovic and his assistant Nenad Miloradovic, and the press learned that the original model cost around EUR 120,000 with the armament and that the new one cost around EUR 200,000. The new variety, with the Russian Kornet missiles, will, of course, cost more, because both the launcher and the mechanism of that system need to be paid for – it is added in the article on that portal.
