Ikarbus produces 55 buses in 2017 – Jobs negotiated in Iranian and Polish markets

The more buses leave the halls of Ikarbus, the more potential clients the former Zemun-based giant has.

This year, 55 buses have been made, of which 30 articulated buses, whereas as many as 40 have been overhauled.

– More and more big foreign companies are interested in business-technical cooperation, but also in purchase – director general of Ikarbus, Aleksandar Vicentic, confirms for Novosti and adds that what makes him, but also all the employees, especially happy is the return of formerly regular customers.

– After ten years, we've once again contracted a job with the auto-transport company Subotica Trans, which has ordered three buses.

Modern buses are based on MAN and Mercedes chassis and are shipped quickly, and the enviable level of quality and affordable, competitive prices are the ace up Ikarbus' sleeve.

A total of 30 new articulated buses were delivered recently for GSP Belgrade alone. The Zemun factory has also successfully competed at the PUE Novi Sad's tender, and seven new buses are to be introduced to the streets of Novi Sad accordingly.

The company is currently working at full capacity for several bus factories in Hungary, and, as Vicentic announces, a big job in the market of Iran should be contracted next week.

Negotiation about a job in the Polish market, which should result in the production of 18 most modern buses with Euro 6 engines in 2018, is also in progress.
