Enterprise Hub opens in Novi Sad

To the end of stimulating the development of entrepreneurship, promoting the entrepreneurial spirit and raising awareness of the possibilities and opportunities offered by entrepreneurship among the young, the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia has opened the first enterprise hub at the Regional Chamber of Commerce of the South Backa Administrative District in Novi Sad, as reported on the CCIS website.

The director of the Sector for Entrepreneurship at the CCIS, Branislava Simanic, emphasized at the opening of the enterprise hub that the CCIS was actively involved in the Decade of Entrepreneurship program, which, in addition to financial support, also entails various initiatives, measures and projects directed at the development of the entrepreneurial spirit, especially among the young, education, professional and advisory help to the end of enhancing the operations of enterprises.

In line with this, the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia has also started an initiative for the founding of enterprise hubs in regional chambers of commerce.

Sasa Bilinovic, acting director of the City Administration for the Economy, emphasized that the local community, the City of Novi Sad, supported the founding of the Enterprise Hub and that it would actively involve itself in the realization of all its activities.

Slavko Novakovic, deputy president of the Parliament of Entrepreneurs of the CCIS has welcomed the foundation of the enterprise hub and pointed out that the Chamber would promote the operations of the enterprise hub and justify it foundation through mutual cooperation and joint activities of subjects operating in the field on entrepreneurship (enterprise associations, local self-governments, local economic development offices, development agencies etc.).
