Serbian Construction and Town Planning Minister Velimir Ilic said Tuesday that the final data about the number of new applications for legalization of illegally built facilities and the amount of legalization fee would be announced by the end of February.

- Local self-governments were to submit the data on the number of new legalization applications as well as about the amount of legalization fee and possible discounts - Ilic said at an event in the Belgrade Chamber of Commerce, the main topic of which was Belgrade as an investment destination.

He noted that the amount of legalization fee would be determined by each municipality or city in a rule book that should have already been sent to the Ministry of Construction and Town Planning.

The deadline to submit legalization applications pursuant to the Law on Legalization of Buildings, which came into effect on 1 November 2013, expired January 29, and so did the deadline set for local self-governments to determine the amount of legalization fee and discounts.
