Stadion shopping center in Vozdovac to open in March 2013 - Investment worth EUR 50 million

The opening of EUR 50 million worth of Stadion shopping center in Vozdovac, which will provide about 800 new jobs, is expected in spring 2013, the company Krammer&Wagner&Illmaier, which implements this project, said in a release.

- We've opted for an innovative shopping center construction project in Serbia, whose implementation will set new urban and architectural standards, while shopping options in this center will be more innovative and closer to consumers' habits - says Edith Illmaier, director of Krammer&Wagner&Illmaier in Serbia.

This shopping center will not be unique only because of a football stadium on its roof, but also because of its capacity. The total area of the complex will be close to 75,000 square meters, including two underground levels with more than 1,000 parking places. The retail area of this shopping center will amount to 30,000 square meters. A football stadium on the third floor, which is being built in line with UEFA standards, will be capable of holding 5,000 spectators. The third floor will also feature a 800 sqm wellness center, as well as a restaurant with an incredible view of Belgrade.

The person behind the Stadion shopping center project in Vozdovac is Claas Daun, owner of Daun&Cie, one of the largest textile companies in Europe, an affiliate of which is NKD.
