Shopping and entertainment center in heart of Sumadija - Kragujevac Plaza opens in February 2012

In February 2012, the city of Kragujevac will become the host of the first modern shopping and entertainment center - Kragujevac Plaza. It will be a new place for fun and quality family shopping, the place where people from Sumadija will be able to spend their leisure time enjoying the comforts of a contemporary facility designed to satisfy buyers' needs.

This modern oasis in the heart of Sumadija will span 65,000 square meters and comprise 110 outlets of international and local brands, a supermarket, six movie theaters, and various other facilities.

The company Plaza Centers, as one of the leading construction investors, has invested about EUR 50 million in Kragujevac Plaza. That is the first out of three projects in Serbia, and it is part of the company's long-term investment strategy for Serbia. About 1,200 people are working on the construction of Kragujevac Plaza, whereas the shopping mall itself will employ about 400 people. Kragujevac Plaza is an efficient and functional facility with quality public areas and communication systems. This environment-friendly building has a number of skylights, which provide enough natural light. The building will be registered as the first green building in the region.
