Early Public Review of General Urban Plan for Belgrade in October

The head urban planner of Belgrade, Marko Stojcic, has stated that a study for the early public review of the General Urban Plan has been prepared, that it is currently in the first half of the execution and that it will be made public in October.

– Following that, a draft will be made, followed by the public review lasting one month, during which the citizens will be able to comment on it – Stojcic said on TV K1, as reported by Beoinfo.

He pointed out that faculties and over 250 professionals from the fields of economy, architecture, transport and many others, were working on the preparation of the General Urban Plan, which will be the strategic solution for the next 20 years.

– The General Urban Plan encompasses everything, the development of Belgrade, not just in terms of construction, but also influences the education, ecology, transport, industry and other areas. We want to go in the direction of Berlin, which is a complete city, and to insist on intellectual activities which are supposed to become the main service – Stojcic said.
