Hotel "Anđela" opened on Kopaonik - part of suite complex "Konaci" to be sold after refurbishment

"MK Group" opened hotel "Anđela" on Kopaonik mountain today (December 24th, 2009), which is the result of the merger of two renewed old accommodation facilities "Zvečan" and "Ras".

- New hotel has four stars and it is situated in the vicinity of the congress center - Miodrag Kostić, the owner of "MK Group", said to the press on Kopaonik.

As he explained, 127 out of 145 rooms in hotel "Anđela" have been refurbished.

Kostić said that the renovation of suites within complex "Konaci" would start in spring, and he announced one part of the capacities of that tourist complex would be sold.

- The priority in sale of the suites will be given to the individuals and companies that will spend more time with their friends on Kopaonik during the year, and not only during the winter tourist season - said he.

Kostić said that "MK Group" had invested 8m EUR in refurbishment of hotels "Grand" and "Anđela" on Kopaonik, and that the plan was that total investments reach 12.5m EUR.

"MK Group" bought hotel "Grand" and suite complex "Konaci" in December 2008 for 23m EUR from company "International CG".

According to the sales contract, the group must keep the existing functions of the hotel and suites within minimum next ten years, as well as provide the four-star category for hotel "Grand" in maximum two years.

According to some earlier information, the capacity of the tourist complex of "MK Group" is 2,000 beds, which is 50% of all capacities on Kopaonik mountain.
