"Global Finance" rented land for residential-business center in Kragujevac - contract worth 8.64m EUR

Investment fund "Global Finance" rented two parcels in Kragujevac yesterday (December 1st, 2009) for 8.64m EUR in order to have residential-business facilities at 75,000 square meters built on them.

According to the official website of the City, the contract was signed by the CEO of the branch office of "Global Finance" in Serbia, Dušan Kovačević, the Mayor of Kragujevac, Veroljub Stevanović, and the CEO of the City Development Company, Slobodan Krunić.

"Global Finance" rented the parcel of 1.54 ha in settlement Stara Radnička Kolonija for construction of a residential-business center at 50,000 square meters and the parcel of 75 acres for construction of a residential-business facility at 25,000 square meters.

Kovačević said that the technical documentation was being elaborated for the first, smaller location. The structure of apartments will depend on the market demands.

He did not want to specify value of the investment and said that it was still too early for talks about that. The Mayor of Kragujevac, Veroljub Stevanović, said that every investment was very significant for the city.

- Company "Nelt" has started realization of the investment in settlement Stara Radnička Kolonija, the foundation stone for "Tempo" facility in Kragujevac will be laid tomorrow, while "Global Finance" plans to start construction of these facilities in March 2010 - Stevanović pointed out.

"Global Finance" is an independent international investment fund that has over 70 investments in 11 countries, and it also has offices in Athens, Sofia, Bucharest and Belgrade.
