Megatrend has promised to invest 30m EUR within the next five years in construction of hotel accommodation (which will occupy the surface of 22,000 square meters), with the capacity of about 400 beds, as well as accompanying sports-recreation, entertainment and commercial facilities. According to the information available to "Novosti", Megatrend has given the best offer on the tender and, after the Directorate for Property gives its consent, the contract on construction of a tourist complex will be officially signed with them.
Paving of the road from the location of Konjarnik to Crni Vrh peak on Stara mountain, as well as to the recently made artificial lake, is currently underway, for which the state provided 25m RSD. Additional 11m RSD will be invested in construction of the water supply system for the future tourist complex and the waste water treatment unit.
The state has, so far, financed installation of ski lifts, organization of ski-tracks and construction of accompanying infrastructure. By the way, ski center Babin Zub on Stara mountain already has ski tracks in the locations of Konjarnik, Sunčeva Dolina and Markova Livada.
