Six-star island holiday resort Sveti Marko - presentation of project by company "Metropol Development" at FREI

Unique complex for elite and luxury resting will be built on Sveti Marko island. All facilities within the complex will be built according to the world's highest standards. It will be the first island holiday resort with 6 stars ever built in Europe. There will be private villas, suites and a luxury hotel, modern restaurants, bars, coffee shops, boutiques with famous brands, yachting club, and the network of SPA-services.
The renewed Master Plan for the the Sveti Marko island development project will be presented at the First Festival of Real Estates and Investments in Montenegro (FREI) by company "Metropol Development", a part of "Metropol" group, as a sponsor and an exclusive participant. Also, the project will be presented at 10 AM on November 13th by Oleg Korolj, the Director General of company "Metropol Development".
"Metropol" Group bought travel company "Putnik" on April 20, 2007. One of the main assets of that company was Sveti Marko island.
As the people from the company explained, indisputable priority in the realization of the project is maximum preservation of nature on the island. The latest environment-friendly technologies will be used in construction and further functioning of the holiday resort, while electric energy will be the only source of energy for everything without exception, including transportation means.
The main partner of the project is "Banyan Tree" from Singapore, the world's leading company for management and planning of holiday hostels, hotels and the network of premium-class SPA-services. Other companies that will be engaged in the work on the project are famous English companies "Savillis", the project coordinator and sales advisor, "Woods Bagot", the main project architect, and ARUP, the project engineer.
Festival FREI will be organized in hotel "Maestral" in Budva between November 10 and 14, and it will gather the most significant international companies whose interests are focused on East Europe: "Adriatic Marinas", "Egyptian Orascom", "Savillis", "Monteverdi", "Colliers International", "Monte Mena" and others.
