What is under construction across the road from Belgrade Arena and In Hotel ? What is B23 ?

In New Belgrade’s Block 23, across the road from the Belgrade ”Arena“, B23, one of the most representative facilities in the city, is under construction since February 2008. At the end of October 2008, the facility already got the form of the modern urban solution for business complex that elevates the standards in planning, development, finishing and functioning of this type of facility.

B23 is a business center whose looks will, most certainly, draw the attention of both civil and expert public and large number of people from the world of business, and it will also become a new model for local developers.

The investor of this magnificent project is VERANO GROUP, the author of the preliminary project is architect Milan Dimitrijević, while the designer of the main project and general contractor is Belgrade-based PROJMETAL.

Total size of the surface is about 53 000 square meters. This facility is formed of four towers that are linked by a representative atrium space with total of 12 panorama elevators and spacious square – the complex’s park in front of the facility. The facility is intended for business users and businessmen who will be able to use the up-to-date office space in the new surroundings.

The space in front of the facility is designed for garage and technical functions, VIP parking is enabled at the level of the square and it is regulated by the special parking regime, with total of 550 parking places.

Ground floor and gallery will include the following joint contents: congress halls, representative halls, cafes, outlets, bookstores, banks, presentation and accompanying premises.

Business premises are situated between the first and the sixth floor in four buildings – A, B, C and D. They are designed as free open space that can be accessed from the multistory halls with elevators, stairs and bridges. The facility is presented as a modern architectural work for business purpose, which uses sophisticated systems, elements and materials that enable polyvalence and functional independence of the designed space. The sixth level in the central buildings includes relaxation and joint contents – fitness, spa center, restaurant, coffee shop. Technical gallery of the facility connects and unites all technical systems within the complex.

What is especially interesting and brand new in development of this type of facilities is projected heliport, which will, definitely, be interesting to both users of the space and public since it will be the first private functional heliport in the city.

Another interesting thing in the concept of the complex is the Square of the complex, which faces Arsenija Čarnojevića Boulevard and is designed as a modern urban park with pedestrian and restricted traffic function. The square is horticulturally treated and it connects the Business Center with surrounding access and green areas and unites them into a unique whole.

The facility should be opened in the second half of year 2009.
