After public auction, organized by the Directorate for Building Land, this Austrian company rented 5,105 square meters on period of 99 years for 290,343,360 RSD.
The facility will have a cellar, ground floor and 3 floors, and the investor will be obliged to have it finished within 3 years.
Đorđe Bobić, the Head architect of Belgrade, said that another 29 locations were being prepared to be offered by the city to the private investors. He also said that he expected that that plan would be adopted at one of the next meetings of the Assembly.
- We have to decide if we will rent these locations to the investors or sign some kind of the concession contract with them. It is possible that some kind of private and public partnership will be made, but it is for certain that the price in these public garages will be determined by the city - Bobić pointed out.
