Lidl building a modern discount store in Vrsac – The value of the project RSD 455 million
The German Lidl, one of the most successful supermarket chains in Europe, will soon start building a complex in Vrsac at the former site of the meatpacking plant Granicar, which has been owned by Hemofarm for a little over ten years.
The Lidl complex will take up around 20,000 square meters. It will consist of a supermarket with a pastry shop, a mall with a cafe-restaurant and a commercial facility with a compatible purpose. According to the General Urban Plan of Vrsac, green space will comprise at least 20% of the parcel. The plan also envisions 220 parking lots. The estimated value of the project is around RSD 455 million.
This city location, also containing a Maxi supermarket and the new AgriCo green market, will soon have its infrastructure modernized.
