Opening of the retail park of Israeli company Aviv Arlon at the entrance to Zrenjanin from Novi Sad, in which EUR 30 million has been invested, is expected in late October, Marketing Director Danka Gladovic announced today.
- This is the third project of the company that operates in Serbia since 2007. The future shopping complex will feature a retail space on 22,500 square meters in the first phase, and the plan is to later expand the retail park to about 10,000 hectares - she told the press while touring the building site.
As she noted, aside from retail stores, the retail park in Zrenjanin will also include a cineplex, fun amenities and about 800 parking places.
The building site was also visited by Zrenjanin Mayor Cedomir Janjic, who said that it was the biggest construction site in the city and that the shopping complex would employ few hundred people.
The Israeli company opened a retail park in Pancevo few years ago, first of the kind in Serbia, on about 15,000 square meters.
Unlike regular shopping centers, retails parks offer people an outdoor shopping experience and a lot of accompanying amenities for the whole family.
