IKEA by Bubanj potok by the end of 2016

Swedish company IKEA, will open its first sale center in Serbia, near Bubanj potpok by the end of 2016, there is no dilemma in Vozdovac municipality.

Development of future business zone means relocation of toll ramp south from Vrcin, relocation of the Zavojnicka reka, reconstruction of the Transped loop which will provide access to new sale facility.

-The ministry of construction, traffic and infrastructure will be in charge for relocation of toll ramp so that city territory would be comprised completely – assistant president of Vozdovac municipality, Miljan Sisovic explains for Novosti.

-Thus, citizens of suburban areas will not have to access town through payment points.

At the lot near current branch office for toll there will be future IKEA department store. That “coast” of the highway will get a parallel road from the Transped loop which will in the first construction stage lead only to the shopping mall.

Within that, regulation of the Zavojnicka reka stream will be done which will be relocated and expropriation is expected soon.

-We are still waiting for requests for expropriation from the Directorate for construction land and construction of Belgrade when market price of the square meter will be defined – Maja Petkovic added, the head of the Department for property and legal affairs of the Vozdovac municipality. No one will be damaged and we believe everything will go regularly and without difficulties.

Grocka has already managing papers

While Vozdovac is waiting for the "green light" from the Directorate, the municipality along the Danube, Grocka, has been working on regulating legal and property affairs at its territory which refer to development of new infrastructure around the highway.

-40% of delivered decision from the Directorate have been completed – Stefan Dilbreovic, president of the Grocka municipality says for Novosti.

-The fee amount has not been known until decisions come into force.

The Vozdovac and Grocka municipalities obliged to provide logistics support for the implementation of the department store project in Bubanj potok. Construction of 35.000 m2 of sales space totaling EUR 65 m was planned. IKEA is considering also the location at Bezanijska kosa near the cemetery, at former lot of Department store Beograd. According to current business operations, the Swedish have been finishing their shopping malls in a year as of the works start.
