Putevi Srbije collected banking guarantees from Alpina

Upon bankruptcy of Austrian Alpine Mayreder Bau GmbH, and with respect to works contracting at the Belgrade-Novi Sad highway, PC Putevi Srbije collected banking guarantees totaling RSD 349 m, the company has announced today.

A year ago, Austrian Alpine went bankrupt. It was then carrying out the works on in Serbia on the east section of the Corridor 10 and rehabilitation of the old bridge at Beska, in the north section.

Total value of all trustees’ claims in the Austrian company exceeds EUR 4 billion, while bankruptcy estate is estimated at some EUR 95 m.

Only Serbia’s total claims from Alpine total EUR 136 m. This is the amount Koridori Srbije, Putevi Srbije and Alpine’s suppliers in our country.
