N1 channel to start broadcasting October 15 latest

New regional information and television channel, N1, available to the public in Serbia, Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, should start broadcasting September 30 and October 15, Beta agency finds out.

The broadcasting starting date of the new channel which will be CNN’s regional partner will be known by the mid of next week.

As the channel rep, Rusmir Nefic, said at the presentation of N1 , at the Weekend Media Festival in Rovinj, some 50% of information will be of local character and the rest will be from the region and the world. The N1 channel will broadcast CNN’s selected programs translated into local languages.

- We will operate in line with CNN standards but the program will not be directed in Atlanta – he said.
