Salaries and pensions lower than RSD 25000 will not decrease – Vucic presents savings measures


The lowest salaries and pensions will not becut – the Prime Minister, Aleksandar Vucic, said last noght at RTS where hepresented savings measures and reforms.
Cuts in salaries and pensions higher than RSD 25.000, sharp fight against grey economy, administration headcount number cuts, decrease of subsidies to some public companies, strengthening of private sector were the measures the President of the Government of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, announced last night for the purpose of Serbian economy revival.
Vucic repeated that the request of the FiscalCouncil is to decrease salaries and penions by 15% but he popped up thequestion if people can survive it.
When it comes to pensions, Vucic said asignificantly larger number of people is protected than when it comes to theemployed.
Planned savings generated from sales andpensions totals some EUR 400 and that planned 700m will be achieved through “total difficult measures”.
