Russians demand Sumadija pepper and cauliflower- Trnava MG increases fruit and vegetables production

This year thedemand of the Russian companies for Sumadija-produced fruit has tripled compared to last year and they have recently become interested in vegetables from Sumadija, Moma Vaisljevic, owner of Gornja Trnava-based at Topola family company.

His company was set up in 1990 and they have been exporting almost the entire fruitproduction scope as well as purchased quantities to the Russian Federation.Last year, they exported 1000 tons of different kinds of fruit.

- There is huge interest for fruit and vegetables but the problem is that we cannot deliver these quantities –Vasiljevic says, explaining that Serbia doesnot have the quantities required as well as that the Russian partners ask for600 tons per month.
