Export of dairy products from Serbia to Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan allowed


The Russian authorities for the supervision of agricultural products import, Roselkhoznadzor announced on Saturday, August 23, 2014 it allowed import of dairy products from Serbia to the Customs Union members comprising Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia.
The decision was made after the guarantees of Serbian veterinary service and the expert analysis showing the flaws were handled, RIA Novosti reports.
Roselkhoznadzor is ready to list two Serbian dairy industry companies more in the registry of organizations and individual producers included in production, processing or storage of products delivered to the Customs Union after it was agreed with veterinary services of Belarus and Kazakhstan.
Serbia is one of the rare European countries to which Russian restrictions do not refer to which were implemented after West implemented of stricter sanctions to Moscow.
August 7, Russia banned import of meat, sea food, fruit, vegetables and dairy products from USA, EU, Norway, Canada and Australia as a response to a new round of western sanctions.
