Google take over Emu mobile application

Emu is a new mobile application for IM messages sending and Google acquired the company which stands behind it.

Apart from IM messages sending, the application provided certain smart options similar to digital assistants to mobile devices such as Siri. For instance, the application knew how to create a reminder, a meeting in a calendar or restaurant booking from the message context.

Although Google plans have not been confirmed, it seems the application functionalities will integrate in its own solutions.

Unfortunately, for all application users, Google will disable the service.
