'Solaris Energy' is building the second solar plant in Kladovo

"Solaris Energy" from Kladovo, is continuting construction of another solar plant in Kladovo Municipality with financial support and partnership from ProCredit Bank. The second solar plant in Kladovo will have a capacity of 999 kilowatts (kW) and over a million euros will be invested.
The first phase of the solar power plant has proved to be only after 6 months a cost-effective project investment in renewable energy, and continuation of construction of the second plant of the same solar power was justified as an investment. It was implemented thanks to a special credit line from ProCredit Bank with a grant incentive of 15% of the value of the loan, and with the support of the German Development Bank KfW and the European Commission, said ProCredit Bank in a statement.
- Production of electricity in our first solar power plant in Kladovo proceeded as planned despite the fact that the number of sunny days was below average in the current year. Revenue from electricity sales was sufficient to service all obligations towards the bank as well as all operating and maintenance costs. As before, ProCredit Bank has, with expertise in the field of investment in renewable energy, provided support as a partner in the new phase of the project on the same site - said Milos Kostic, director of "Solaris Energy".
According to him, the start of construction of other solar power plants in Negotinska Krajina will be in the first days of August and the end of construction and its commissioning is scheduled for early October of 2014.
