Romanian "Cuprom" to take over Factory of equipment from makeup of Mining Smelter Basin (RTB) "Bor"?

The Factory of equipment and parts from the earlier system of Mining Smelter Basin (RTB) "Bor", will be offered for sale on the auction for the third time at the end of March 2007. The starting price is 180m RSD.

It is the most perspective factory from the makeup of Basin "Bor". According to unofficial information, certain American company and the new owner of RTB “Bor”, company “Cuprom” from Romania, are interested in purchase of this factory.

The craftsmen and engineers of this company assembled the ski lifts on Kopaonik and Stara Planina mountains, they were engaged in the installation of lighting system in Sozina tunnel in Montenegro, as well as in the works in company "U.S. Steel".

They also carried out significant works in cement factory "Popovac" and successfully cooperated with Canadian “Dundee” and Austrian "Best Alpina".

- The documentation of this factory was bought by a German company. However, it is most likely that the buyer will be the new owner of RTB – Romanian company “Cuprom”, because we have been repairing smelter units, installing and maintaining mining and metallurgic equipment for decades – says Dragoljib Cvetković, the Manager of the Factory.
