Memorandum of understanding of the Pirot municipality gasification signed

Last week in Sophia, a Memorandum of understanding between Bulgarian Overgaz Ink from Sophia and the Pirot municipality was signed. The Memorandum was signed by the Executive Manager of Overgaz, Saso Doncev and President of the Pirot municipality, Vladan Vasic, the Pirot municipality announced at its site.

The signing parties defined mutual interest and readiness to cooperate in the field of gasification of the Pirot municipality and that in line with that, they wil start with specific activities in project implementation.

- Pirot hopes that the construction of the MG10 gas pipeline will start soon and that it will provide new opportunities for municipal development. Therefore, we want to consider options of secondary gasification, i.e. connections of our heating plant, bigger consumers such as schools and a part of businesses. This is why potential needs and gasification plan should be considered - Vladan Vasic, President of the Pirot municipality said after signing the Memorandum of understanding.
