Forty teams to assess damages caused by floods

The Ministry of Construction, Transportation and Infrastructure of Serbia announced Tuesday (3 June 2014) that 40 teams would be formed to assess the damages caused by May floods.

This was agreed upon at a meeting with the representatives of institutions that are going to partake in the repair of flood-caused damages, which was attended by experts from the European Union and the World Bank.
These forty teams will include 200 experts from domestic and international institutions.

In coordination with the Serbian government's Office for Rehabilitation and Assistance to Flooded Areas, they will help local self-governments assess the damage and check the data coming from municipalities.
