Another important international conference at end of March in Belgrade - what does southeast Europe offer to Canadian investors

The Embassy of Canada to Serbia, together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of that country, as well as with Munk Center of the University in Toronto, will organize an international conference in Belgrade on March 27 and 28, 2007. The working title of this conference is "Business opportunities offered to Canadians by the region of southeast Europe".
The meeting will be held in hotel "Hyatt". Its main goal, as the Manager of the Department of Economic Relations of the Embassy of Canada, Đurđa Ćeramilac, explains, is that the business and investment opportunities offered by the local region be represented to the potential investors from Canada as fully as possible.
- It is for certain that the focus of the entire Conference will be put on the potentials of Serbia, but that meeting will be also dedicated to the current events in Croatia, BiH, Montenegro, Albania, as well as Romania and Bulgaria. We expect the presence of about 30 important Canadian companies, as well as big number of companies from this territory, which will represent their projects, ideas, establish contacts and start talks about possible partnerships – Ćeramilac explains in the interview for "Ekapija".
The aforementioned meeting will include the variety of panel discussions, which will be dedicated to agriculture, communications, information technologies, traffic, civil engineering and real estates, as well as finances.
