Construction of six-seat ski lifts Krcmar and Gvozdac at Mount Kopaonik starts June - Project valued at EUR 15 million

- Ongoing preparation works at the mountain include the removal of existing installations and preparation of the terrain for construction. These two ski lifts will be the first lifts to have a hood and heaters, so that skiers and boarders will enjoy special comfort.
As people at Skijalista Srbije said, these ski lifts will be ready for the ski season 2014/15. Their initial capacity is 1,800 skiers per hour, whereas the maximum capacity of new ski lifts is 2,400 skiers per hour.
Their construction, which was initially planned to commence in the autumn 2013, will cost EUR 15 million (about EUR 8 million for Krcmar and EUR 7 million for Gvozdac). They were ordered by the Ministry of Finance and Economy, and the manufacturer is Italy's Leitner.
