Užice-based "Partizan" signed contract on export of ammunition to Belgium, value of arrangement - 2m EUR

Company "Prvi partizan" in Užice will soon sign the ten-year contract with Belgian company "FN Herstal" on production and export of ammunition.
Dobrosav Andrić, the Manager of "Prvi partizan", says that that company should deliver ammunition worth 2m EUR to the Belgian company in 2007, whereas the value of export in the following year should be three times bigger.
In 2005, 95% of production ended on foreign markets and the total value of export amounted to 35m USD. The basic activity of the company is production of ammunition, for which there is a great demand in the world, as Andrić explained. Also, the competition is very tough.
- Our task is to find a real measure in the relation between quality and price, in order to employ our capacities as much as possible. The factory exports more than 90% of production and the only domestic buyer is the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Serbia - Andrić reminds.
