Furniture factory construction commenced in Apatin

The laying of the foundation stone on Thursday (13 March 2014) marked the start of the construction of furniture factory in Apatin. It is a greenfield investment by the Lumber Line company that is engaged in the manufacture of panel furniture.

The products made in the factory in Apatin will be exported to the countries of western Europe. It will be producing panel furniture for hotels and other hospitality and tourist facilities, educational and healthcare institutions.

The plan is to finish this factory by July 2014. Novogradnja from Bezdan is the contractor.

This EUR 1.2 million furniture factory will employ 40 workers once the production enters the first phase.
