The Ministry of Natural Resources, Mining and Spatial Planning requested from the Commercial Court in Belgrade and the Public Attorney's Office of the Republic of Serbia to suspend the sale of Mladenovac-based Keramika's real estates by public auction, Tanjug news agency reports.
Bulgarian company Oil BG has begun the process of collecting its claims from Mladenovac-based Keramika by selling the property of this company, and the receiver, Ratko Vidovic, has already scheduled a public auction for the sale of this property, that is, the land belonging to Keramika.
The Ministry of Natural Resources, Mining and Spatial Planning has determined that most of the land lots going on the auction block are situated at the existing ceramic clay deposit Kosarno, while some of them are located at the site where tailings are disposed of.
The Ministry of Natural Resources, Mining and Spatial Planning is of the opinion that the sale of this property would jeopardize the interest of Serbia.
This request of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Mining and Spatial Planning has received support from all trade unions of Keramika which warned the public that the sale of that mine would endanger the existence of Keramika employing about 550 people.
