Company "Holcim" to have another concrete factories built in Serbia

In 2006, Cement factory "Holcim Srbija" in Popovac near Paraćin produced 10% more cement and "novimal" than 750,000 tons, which was the plan.

- We expect that this-year production plan will be larger by 15% - said general manager of the cement factory Gustavo Navaro.

- We will build another two concrete factories in Belgrade this year and we are already looking for locations. Then we will build one concrete factory in Kragujevac and one in Niš. We estimate that the cement consumption in these regions will grow, because the building industry in Serbia started much faster than in the previous years - Navaro announced.
