Man from Russia wants to buy island in northern part of Adriatic Sea

Few days ago the daily Novi List published an ad reading: "We are looking for an island in the northern part of the Adriatic Sea for a renowned buyer."
At first sight, this ad sounds like a joke, but it is not. This ad was posted by Opatija-based real estate agency Smart-invest immobilien. Its owner, Milan Mandic, points out that a serious buyer wants to buy this island and that money is not an issue for him.
A question that emerges is if this buyer is really from Russia or from England.
- He is a Russian - Milan Mandic replies briefly.
Islands in the Adriatic Sea cost between 10 and 60 euros per square meter, meaning that one can become the owner of a big island in the northern part of the Adriatic Sea for only EUR 10 million!
