Actavis to boost exports in 2014

Pharmaceutical company Actavis, a part of which is Leskovac-based pharmaceutical plant Zdravlje, will continue to timely supply health centers and pharmacies with all required drugs, but it will also launch the latest generation of generic drugs, says Dr. Pavle Marjanovic, the director of Actavis for Serbia and Montenegro.

In that way, patients will be prescribed modern therapies that are available to the citizens of the most developed countries in the world.

- Despite all economic challenges, we expect no turbulence in the supply of drugs in 2014 because most pharmaceutical companies supplied their drugs on a regular basis last year and the Republic Health Insurance Fund fullfiled all its obligations to suppliers on time - Dr. Marjanovic says and adds that he expects quality therapies to be provided to patients thanks to the partner cooperation between the state and the pharmaceutical industry.
