WTE VASERTEHNIK: Construction of water factory in Zrenjanin may start as early as tomorrow

WTE Vasertehnik, a leading provider of services in the field of water, technology and energy, presented Wednesday in Zrenjanin the status of the water factory construction project defined in an agreement this company signed with the City of Zrenjanin on 18 April 2012.

WTE Vasertehnik GmbH was the one to submit the most favorable bid for the construction, planning and executiong of works and the funding and management of the drinking water treatment plant in Zrenjanin. The company is ready to start implementing this project immediately.

- This project model is known as DBFO (design, build, finance, operation) and it involves the participation of significant international finance institutions. The project is also backed by the states of Serbia and Germany - said WTE Vasertehnik CTO Joerg Koering.

The company prepared a feasibility study in the previous period and, what is even more important, it completed final designs in mid-September 2013.

WTE operates in 16 countries, rendering services to over 19 million people worldwide. This company, which was established in Essen, Germany, joined the Austrian power giant EVN Group few years ago.
