Serbia signed Declaration of reinforcement of railway cooperation between EU and Balkans

European Commission and the representatives of the countries of the western Balkans, among which is Serbia, signed the Declaration of reinforcement of railway cooperation in Brussels and adopted the plan for construction of railway network in period from year 2007 to year 2011.

- The main emphasis has been put on the regional character of the projects, because the greater their regional character is, the easier access to the Funds of European Union, both preadmission funds and cohesion funds - said the State Secretary in the Ministry of Capital Investments of Serbia, Miodrag Jocić, who signed the declaration in the name of Minister Velimir Ilić.

In addition to Serbia and European Commission, the Declaration was signed by UNMIK, Montenegro, BiH, Croatia, Macedonia and Albania.
