Million new jobs by 2020 - Long-term SEE development strategy adopted



Representatives of the economy ministries of SEE countries adopted a long-term strategy for the development of that region by 2020 on November 21st in Sarajevo.
The main objective of this strategy is to create up to one million new jobs in that period.
The strategy specifies what is necessary to strengthen a favorable environment for economic development in the region in addition to eliminating administrative obstacles and attracting additional investment.
The conference of the Investment Committee for Southeast Europe, which was organized by the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC), was attended by the representatives of Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Bulgaria, Moldova, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Macedonia, as well as the European Commission and other regional and international partners and initiatives.
