France's Franck Oury to rent Beko in Svilajnac on 31 October 2013


French company Franck Oury from Paris will sign Thursday in the Town Hall of Svilajnac a lease agreement for the former factory Beko, where preparations for the start of production will begin November 1st, the Info Service of that municipality announced in a release on Wednesday.
The French investor will rent Beko's facility for a period of three years starting November 1st, and it plans to employ about 100 workers, the release reads.
This company is owned by Frenchmen of Serbian origin and is engaged in textile production for over 40 years. They currently sell their products to big fashion companies, such as Cache Cache, Christine Lauren, Kiabi, Gemo...
Products from the factory in Svilajnac are intended for the market of France.
It is a facility in the city center, covering a surface area of 2,976 square meters, which was bought together with the equipment, inventory and land by the municipality at the 24th auction in April, Milanovic explained.
