Zrenjanin gets water factory by 2016 - WTE Wassertechnik expects to receive building permit by year's end

Implementation of the water factory project in Zrenjanin is going on schedule for now. Preparation of final designs is underway, and it is expected that a building permit will be issued without usual administrative delays, mainly owing to the significance of this project for Zrenjanin, the WTE Wassertechnik company said in a release on Friday.
According to the release, WTE guarantees it will fulfill all contractual obligations on time.
If the building permit is issued by the year's end, the water factory may be completed as early as 2016, the release reads.
Zrenjanin has been experiencing problems with water supply since 2004, when the story about water factory construction was first brought up.
Zrenjanin Mayor Ivan Bosnjak stated in mid-July that a EUR 26 million state guarantee for the construction of a water factory in that town was secured with a revision of the republic budget, based on an agreement signed in 2012 with Germany's Wassertechnik.
