AIK bank to take over Railway Savings-Credit Collective

- AIK bank from Niš is not giving up intention to merge with Railway SAvings-Credit Collective from Belgrade and the decision about that will be made at the meeting of the Administrative Board this week - the Head of that Board, Ljubiša Jovanović, announced.

It was said in NBS on Friday (October 27, 2006) that the central bank agreed on April 10, 2006, on merging of Railway Savings-Credit Collective "1891" Belgrade and AIK bank Niš, but that bank has not yet submitted request to NBS for merging.

Jovanović explained that the survey of the situation in the business books of the collective, its property and final account were to be carried out in order to determine the size of its property, so that the making of the elaborate on merging with AIK bank could start.
