Defying foreign competition, company "Inter–papir" from Zemun has commenced production of special papers - ozalid, tracing, xerox, plotter paper for copying and design of project documentation - which used to be imported.
Production of these papers is carried out on the three-level machine that is unique on the territory of Southeast Europe.
Summing up the imprssions from the Graphics Fair in Belgrade, Goran Zarić, the export manager of company "Inter-papir", pointed out in the statement for "Ekapija" that 30% of production potential would satisfy the needs of the market in Serbia, whereas the remaining products would find their buyers abroad.
The manager of "Inter-papir", Mirjana Milić, is very satisfied with this-year Graphics Fair, because the financial effects are "above expectations" and very important contracts are signed with the companies from the countries of former SFRY, Hungary and Bulgaria.
"Inter-papir" organized the production of silicate paper that is used for production of diapers for children, inserts and envelopes. The production of silicate paper for non-food industry will commence at the beginning of year 2007.
